Alwan Shaibani, Chair
Mr. Shaibani is currently the Chairman of the Universal Group of Companies, which he founded in 1982. Prior to founding the Universal Group, he worked as the Commercial Director of the Yemen Airlines from 1973 to 1980. At present, he serves as a Board member for 15 NGOs that are active in youth development, poverty alleviation, and women's empowerment. He holds a BA in Political Science and International Relations.

Waleed Al-Dobai
Mr. Al-Dobai serves as the Investment Advisor to the Chairman of the Cooperative and Agricultural Credit Bank. While working at the International Bank of Yemen from 1996-2005, he served as internal auditor, Head of the Internal Auditing Department, Head of the Foreign Currency Department, and Assistant Director. He holds a Masters in Banking from the Arab Academy for Monetary and Banking Sciences, in Sana’a.

Mohammed A. Saeed
Mr. A. Saeed is the Regional Director of the Hayel Saeed Anaam Group in Yemen. He is the Chairman of the Board of the Confederation of Chambers of Commerce, a member of the Founding Committee of Poor’s Bank, and serves on the Board of the Tadhamon Islamic Bank. He is a member of the Parliament and a member of the General Committee of the People’s General Congress.

Hani Shehadeh
Mr. Shehadeh is the Area General Manager of the Consolidated Contractors International Company (Construction) for Yemen and the General Manager of the Consolidated Contractors (Oil & Gas) Company. He is a member of the Board of directors of SabaFon and the Batais Cement Company. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering.

Dr. Tarek S. Abu Lohoom
Dr. Tarek S. Abu Lohoom is the Founder and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the University of Science and Technology in Yemen. He is also the Founder and Chairman of the Al-Islah Al-Ijtema'I Association, a leading NGO in Yemen, and a distinguished social entrepreneur and member of numerous NGOs. He holds a degree in Pediatrics from Tunisia University and a BA in Medicine.

H.E. Dr. A. Kareem Aleryani
H.E. Dr. A. Kareem Aleryani served twice as Prime Minister of Yemen, and is the current Political Adviser to H.E. President A. A. Saleh. Mr. Aleryani holds a Ph.D. in Economics from Yale University. Mr. Aleryani is known for his talents in managing foreign affairs and his exceptional political skills. He is the Honorary Chairman YEFE’s Board of Trustees.

Mr. Ahmed M. Soofan
Mr. Ahmed M. Soofan is the former Deputy Prime Minister of Yemen and a prominent businessman.

Mr. Gamal Al-Mutarreb
Mr. Gamal Al-Mutarreb is the owner and founder of the Al-Mutarreb Group.

Ronald Bruder, Founder & CEO of EFE
Mr. Bruder was a serial entrepreneur mainly focused on real estate development before he founded EFE – to which he now devotes all of his professional time. Mr. Bruder also founded companies in the oil, medical technology, and travel industries. In 1977, he founded The Brookhill Group which owns and manages properties throughout the US. In 1990, Brookhill began acquiring environmentally contaminated properties, by inventing a new methodology to redevelop those properties that enabled the company to limit the risk associated with environmental clean-up costs. Mr. Bruder holds a Bachelors degree from Adelphi University in Economics, a Master's degree in Business Administration / Finance from New York University, and a Post Master's degree in Accounting & Taxation from Iona College.

Jamie McAuliffe, President of EFE
Mr. McAuliffe has two decades of experience in leadership roles in both the nonprofit and business sectors. Most recently, Jamie served as Portfolio Manager at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation. Jamie has also worked as a small and medium-sized business consultant at OTF Group in Brazil and as a leader of social entrepreneurs at Ashoka Innovators for the Public. Between receiving his BA in Philosophy from Georgetown University and his MA in International Economics from John Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies, Jamie served as an inner-city school teacher for Teach for America.
