Anis Aclimandos, Chair
Mr. Aclimandos is President of TransCentury Associates. He joined the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt in 1983 and currently serves as one of its vice presidents. Mr. Aclimandos is also the president of TransCentury Associates, which manages development projects worldwide, and president of "Woodies," a subsidiary of TCA, which is the Egyptian import agent for Eastman-Kodak.

Ahmed Abou Ali
Mr. Abou Ali is a Partner at Hassouna and Abou Ali law firm. Previously, Mr. Abou Ali was an associate at Sidley and Austin LLP in Chicago. He is a member of both the Bar Association of Egypt and the American Bar Association. Mr. Abou Ali is also a member of the American Chamber of Commerce, where he was the vice-president of legal affairs.

Mahmoud Attalla
Mr. Attalla is Managing Director of Manazel Real Estate Development in Egypt. Mr. Attalla was previously the Vice Chairman of the Egyptian General Authority for Investment & Free Zones (GAFI), where he promoted greater foreign and local investment in Egypt. Prior to this, he was a Managing Director of HSBC Securities Egypt.

David Arnold
Mr. Arnold is President of the American University in Cairo (AUC). Prior to joining AUC, he served for six years as executive vice president of the Institute of International Education. Mr. Arnold has also worked for the Ford Foundation, the Michigan Department of Labor, the National Governors' Association, and the Coalition of Northeastern Governors.

Adel Danish
Mr. Danish is Chairman and CEO of Xceed, a Telecom Egypt subsidiary. He is also the founder and co-founder of several companies in the information technology field in Egypt, France, and the U.S. Dr. Danish was appointed a Board member of Telecom Egypt in June 2000. He has been Chairman of the Arab Business Forum for Information Technology and Communications, was founder and chairman of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt’s IT committee, and currently serves as one of the Chamber’s vice presidents.

Rawya Mansour
Ms. Mansour is founder and chair of interior design company Ramsco. She is a member of the Board of the Mansour Group, which works in automotives, construction, manufacturing, distribution and fast food. Ms. Mansour studied commerce and law at Cairo University and holds a degree in interior design from Sotheby’s Institute of Art.

Gamal Moharam
Mr. Moharam serves as non-executive chairman for financial advisory services firm Newscape Egypt and Servfund, a mutual fund administration company. Previously, Mr. Moharam was chairman and CEO of Pireaus Bank–Egypt. He has previously worked as chief representative at the Bank of New York, Fleet National Bank, and Citibank. Mr. Moharam is chair of the American Chamber of Commerce in Egypt, of which he has been an active member since 1984.

Ronald Bruder, EFE Founder and Chief Executive Officer
Mr. Bruder was a serial entrepreneur mainly focused on real estate development before he founded EFE – to which he now devotes all of his professional time. Mr. Bruder also founded companies in the oil, medical technology, and travel industries. In 1977, he founded The Brookhill Group which owns and manages properties throughout the US. In 1990, Brookhill began acquiring environmentally contaminated properties, by inventing a new methodology to redevelop those properties that enabled the company to limit the risk associated with environmental clean-up costs. Mr. Bruder holds a Bachelors degree from Adelphi University in Economics, a Master's degree in Business Administration / Finance from New York University, and a Post Master's degree in Accounting & Taxation from Iona College.

Jamie McAuliffe, President of EFE
Mr. McAuliffe has two decades of experience in leadership roles in both the nonprofit and business sectors. Most recently, Jamie served as Portfolio Manager at the Edna McConnell Clark Foundation. Jamie has also worked as a small and medium-sized business consultant at OTF Group in Brazil and as a leader of social entrepreneurs at Ashoka Innovators for the Public. Between receiving his BA in Philosophy from Georgetown University and his MA in International Economics from John Hopkins School for Advanced International Studies, Jamie served as an inner-city school teacher for Teach for America.

Shahinaz Reda Ahmed
Chief Executive Officer
Shahinaz R. Ahmed has worked for over 14 years in educational management, planning, and delivery, holding positions at AMIDEAST, the American University in Cairo, the Fulbright Commission, and the Arab Academy for Science and Technology. Additionally, she has held consulting positions with USAID, Community and Institutional Development, and Logic Consulting. Ms. Ahmed holds a Master’s degree in Education and International Development from the Institute of Education, University of London, a Master’s degree in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the American University in Cairo, and a Bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Alexandria, Egypt.

Mahmoud Shaaban
Program Manager
Mr. Shaaban has over eight years of experience in marketing and sales in the Egyptian financial sector, and began his career at the beginning of the boom in Egyptian retail banking. He has held management and research positions in two multi-national commercial banks and one foreign-managed public-private partnership. Mr. Shaaban holds a Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Trade from Helwan University, and a Master’s of Business Administration from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport.

Marwa Rushdy
Program Associate
Ms. Rushdy is educated and trained as a medical doctor. She has delivered English language training courses with a number of training providers in Egypt and has taught science at the American School in Cairo. She has also worked as an administrative assistant at AMIDEAST, and in the management of a start-up entrepreneurial company for wedding planning.
