Overview
EFE's Banking Training Program will train ambitious, unemployed college graduates to be bank branch professionals. In Egypt, where the program will launch in early 2009, the Banking program responds to growing banks' struggle to secure qualified employees. The program combines EFE's Workplace Success professional skills curriculum, technical training in banking, and on-the job experience.
CurriculumSix to eight weeks, varying according to student profiles and employer needs.
PedagogyThe interactive Workplace Success component of the training features group activities, simulations, and role-playing. On-the-job training will allow students to put their new skills to work immediately. A final project will test students' practical application of the knowledge and skills they have acquired.
InternshipsClassroom learning is integrated with an internship and/or on-the-job training, usually parallel to course delivery. In on-the-job training, students shadow an employee and conduct research that will contribute to the project component of the program.
