The Education For Employment Foundation has formed partnerships with leading businesses, organizations, non-profits and public-sector agencies to strengthen our mission of youth employment. These partners help make our projects relevant, effective and sustainable by providing funding, technical assistance and jobs for our graduates. In addition, we have numerous other key partners in our specific program countries.



Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC)


Consolidated Contractors Company, the Middle East's largest contractor and one of the premier construction companies in the Arab world, is EFE's key partner for Gaza's Mini-MBA Business, the West Bank's Construction Management, and Jordan's Land Surveying Training and Job-Placement Programs. In addition to providing program funding, CCC has committed to hiring or placing in jobs 120 Mini-MBA and 45 Construction Management graduates over three years, as well as 40 Land Surveying graduates. CCC's Executive Vice President sits on the Board of Directors of EFE and Palestinian EFE. CCC's specialization areas range from heavy mechanical construction to civil engineering for infrastructure, power, industry, and the oil & gas sectors.

The Drosos Foundation


The Swiss-based Drosos Foundation has awarded EFE a $1.65 million grant to expand its work improving the futures of young Palestinians. The Drosos Foundation, a politically, religiously and ideologically independent organization, supports projects in Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa that give disadvantaged people the skills to take responsibility for themselves and to live a life of dignity. Through Drosos' support, EFE will train 450 underprivileged, unemployed West Bank youth with cutting-edge business, communications and English-language skills. Successful graduates will be placed with employers who have previously committed jobs and will be supported by a network of EFE alumni and local business leaders as their mentors.

International Youth Foundation (IYF)


The International Youth Foundation (IYF), which works in over 70 countries to improve the lives of young people, has been a critical ally in EFE's work to provide life skills training to young Moroccans. Through grants totaling $75,000, EFE-Maroc has trained 205 young people in the Workplace Success [link] professional skills program, and has begun institutionalizing the program at Hassan II University in Casablanca. EFE and IYF are currently collaborating on upcoming, expanded offerings of Workplace Success training. IYF works in four key areas: education, employability, leadership and engagement, and health education and awareness.

Manpower, Inc.


Manpower Inc., a world leader in the employment services industry, has launched a global initiative with EFE to improve the employment opportunities for first-time jobseekers in the Middle East and North Africa. Under the agreement, Manpower and EFE will work together to provide training for young people in order to bridge the gap between the skills held by school and university graduates and those needed by businesses. EFE will recruit, train and place job candidates in conjunction with local businesses; Manpower will provide its vast experience in creating sustainable workforces, along with its global network, which offers support and services through 4,500 offices located in 80 countries.

United States Department of State's Office of The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI)


The United States Department of State's Office of The Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI) is working with EFE to generate life-transforming opportunities for disadvantaged youth across the Middle East and North Africa. In Jordan, Egypt, Morocco and Yemen, a $1.5 million Cooperative Agreement with MEPI is helping EFE finance training and job placement programs for hundreds of young people in sales, banking, textiles, air-conditioner maintenance and professional skills. The funding is also aiding EFE to continue strengthening the capacity of local educators, trainers, and institutions to deliver job-oriented education. MEPI provides assistance to reformers in the Middle East and North Africa working to promote democracy, improve education, build economic opportunities, and empower women. In four years, MEPI has devoted more than $293 million to 350 projects in 17 countries and territories.

Saïd Foundation (SF)


The Saïd Foundation, whose mission is to improve the lives of disadvantaged youth in the Middle East, has partnered with EFE in Jordan, the West Bank and Gaza. Saïd Foundation scholarships have enabled young Jordanians to receive Workplace Success and Teacher Training, and to be placed in jobs. The Saïd Foundation has also provided scholarships for Palestinian trainees in the Gaza Mini-MBA Program and the West Bank Construction Management Program. The Saïd Foundation aims to bring positive and lasting change to the lives of children and young people in the Middle East.

United Nations Development Programme/ Programme of Assistance to Palestinian People (UNDP/PAPP)


Through this partnership, the UNDP/PAPP has provided financial support for EFE's Mini-MBA Training and Job-Placement Program in Gaza. UNDP is the U.N.'s global development network, an organization advocating for change and connecting countries to knowledge, experience and resources to help people build a better life. The UNDP/PAPP provides support for institutional building, organizational development and relief assistance to deprived communities.

USAID, which provides economic, development and humanitarian assistance around the world, has supported EFE's Workplace Success training in Morocco via a $75,000 award from the International Youth Foundation (IYF). Additionally, with USAID support, EFE created a nursing curriculum for use in Egypt.

YNNA Holding


YNNA Holding, one of Morocco's largest private sector employers, is a key EFE partner in Morocco, sponsoring and employing graduates of the Workplace Success program in its Ryad Mogador hotels. The Executive Vice President of the Chaabi Group, one of YNNA Holding's companies, sits on EFE-Maroc's Board of Directors. Young Presidents' Organization


The Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) - the premier international network of young global leaders - has joined with EFE to help focus attention on the acute problem of youth joblessness in the Middle East and North Africa. YPO, which merged in 2007 with the World Presidents' Organization, has a global membership of 17,000 in 100 nations, and is dedicated to building better leaders through education and the exchange of ideas.
