Ronald Bruder, Chair, Founder & CEO of EFE
Mr. Bruder was a serial entrepreneur mainly focused on real estate development before he founded EFE – to which he now devotes all of his professional time. Mr. Bruder also founded companies in the oil, medical technology, and travel industries. In 1977, he founded The Brookhill Group which owns and manages properties throughout the US. In 1990, Brookhill began acquiring environmentally contaminated properties, by inventing a new methodology to redevelop those properties that enabled the company to limit the risk associated with environmental clean-up costs. Mr. Bruder holds a Bachelors degree from Adelphi University in Economics, a Master's degree in Business Administration / Finance from New York University, and a Post Master's degree in Accounting & Taxation from Iona College.

Dr. Alton Frye
Dr. Frye is the Presidential Senior Fellow Emeritus and a former president of the Council on Foreign Relations in Washington, D.C. A widely published author who provides frequent testimony before the U.S. Congress, Dr. Frye has taught as a visiting faculty member at Yale University, the University of California (Los Angeles) and Harvard University.

The Honorable Lee Hamilton
Former Representative Hamilton is Director of the Woodrow Wilson International Center for Scholars in Washington, D.C. Prior to joining the Woodrow Wilson Center in 1999, he served for 34 years as a U.S. Congressman from Indiana and chaired or served as Ranking Democrat on the Committee on Foreign Affairs for 12 years.

Samer Khoury
Mr. Khoury is the Executive Vice President of Consolidated Contractors International Company (CCC), one of the largest Arab international construction companies operating throughout the Middle East, Africa, CIS, Europe, and the U.S. For more than 20 years, Mr. Khoury has been highly involved in business, social, and educational activities in the Middle East and Europe. He is co-chair of the Aspen Institute's Middle East Strategy Group

Ellen Laipson
Ms. Laipson is President and Chief Executive Officer of the Henry L. Stimson Center. She has held several senior foreign policy positions in the United States government during a career in public service lasting 25 years.

H.E. Ambassador Mokhtar Lamani
H.E. Ambassador Mokhtar Lamani is an International Development Research Centre senior visiting fellow at the Centre for International Governance Innovation in Waterloo. Ambassador Lamani most recently served as the Arab League Special Representative for Iraq and is former Ambassador of the Organization of the Islamic Conference to the United Nations.

Jeffrey Maurer
Mr. Maurer is the retired Chairman and CEO of U.S. Trust Corporation. In addition to his work with EFE, he is actively involved in a number of community organizations and serves on the boards of Alfred University, Children’s Health Fund and North Shore-LIJ Health System. Mr. Maurer is also Chairman of the Board of the Hebrew Home at Riverdale.

H.E. Dr. Moeen A. Qureshi
Mr. Qureshi is the Chairman and Managing Partner of Emerging Markets Partnership. He served as Prime Minister of Pakistan for an interim period in 1993 and has served as Chief Operating Officer for both the World Bank and the International Finance Corporation.

Jeffrey Smith
Mr. Smith heads the Public Policy and Legislative practice group at the Washington, D.C. law firm of Arnold & Porter. He has held several prominent positions in both the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. government.

Dr. Shibley Telhami
Dr. Telhami is the Anwar Sadat Professor for Peace and Development at the University of Maryland, College Park. He is also a senior fellow at the Saban Center at the Brookings Institution and a prolific author on international politics and Middle East affairs.

David Arkless
Mr. Arkless is President of Corporate and Government at Manpower Inc. He is also founding member and Co-Chair of the World Economic Forum’s Global Agenda Council on the Skills Gap. Mr. Arkless is a world-renowned expert on labor market trends and has widespread experience in helping nations develop their labor market strategies. He serves as an advisory board member of both the International Organization for Migration and the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. He has also been named Special Envoy of the End Human Trafficking Now! Movement and was appointed as a core advisor on the Private Sector Panel of UN.GIFT, the recently launched UNODC global initiative to fight Human Trafficking.

Waleed Al-Banawi
Mr. Al-Banawi is the Vice Chairman of the Jeddah, Saudi Arabia-based Banawi Industrial Group, one of the leading manufacturing groups in the Gulf region. As Vice Chairman, he focuses on leading group's business development activities and new business ventures in key global growth markets, including M&A and strategic planning. Mr. Al-Banawi is extremely committed to social investment. He spearheaded the Next Generation Conference (NGC) on the Youth Bulge and Educational & employment challenges in the Arab World held under the patronage of Queen Rania Al-Abdullah in 2008 and is Regional Chairman of the Young Presidents’ Organization (YPO). Mr. Al Banawi also holds the position of Vice Chairman of the Board for many of the Banawi Group’s subsidiary companies throughout the Middle East.
