Our Vision and Mission

The Education for Employment Foundation believes that when young people feel useful, productive and independent, they help build stable and prosperous societies.

Our vision is a future in which all young people have the chance to reach their full potential through satisfying careers that enable them to contribute positively to their societies and their world.

Our mission is to create job opportunities for unemployed youth in the Middle East and North Africa by providing world-class professional and technical training that leads directly to career-building jobs.

EFE's unique contributions are:

  • Creating powerful partnerships: we engage local business leaders, educators, and government officials in sustaining partnerships that produce job commitments. This includes launching foundations in each country to run programs, governed jointly with business leaders and educators there;
  • Developing practical and relevant training programs that are tailor-made to meet the needs of businesses; and
  • Linking graduates of our training programs directly to jobs.
  • Enabling existing educational institutions to better prepare their graduates for the workforce by providing them with world class curriculum and methodologies.

By meeting the increasing demands for skilled workers and bridging the gap that exists between employers' needs and the educational programs currently available, EFE is establishing a model for employer-driven training that can be replicated by existing educational institutions, governments, or others who may be inspired to create a career college industry.
